S. Korea’s economy grows in Q3 ’24

South Korea’s real gross domestic product (GDP), measured in chained volume terms, grew by 0.1 per cent in the third quarter (Q3) of 2024 compared to the previous quarter, consistent with the advance estimate.

Real gross national income (GNI) showed stronger performance, rising by 1.4 per cent during the same period.

The data underscores a modest expansion in the country’s economy, with national income growth outpacing overall production in the third quarter.
