SABB Takaful Wins Prestigious Award

SABB Takaful Company has received an award for its Takaful protection and savings at the INSUREX conference held in Dubai. SABB Takaful was competing with prestigious names in global insurance like Friends Provident International and Zurich as well as regional firms from 11 Middle Eastern countries. Nonetheless, SABB Takaful was named the winner for this year’s award.

The INSUREX conference this year is the 7th of its kind to be held with the organization of Policy Magazine – one of the most important publishers specializing in the insurance field in the Middle East – in an aim to highlight the excellence of leading insurance companies in the region.

Sheikh Fouad Bahrawi is the Chairman of SABB Takaful.

SABB Takaful was selected by committee of judges which was composed of world-renowned insurance industry experts – some of them are affiliated with the UK-based Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII).

The prize came as a major recognition of the extraordinary performance of SABB Takaful in the field of life insurance (takaful protection and savings) which was achieved by introducing multiple innovative packages of takaful programs for individuals and commercial sectors.

The company saw a significant increase in the individual and commercial customer bases during 2011, coupled with a determination to continue to utilize state-of-the-art technology to promote a culture of takaful to financially and socially improve the lives of its clients.
