Samsung to lease its Russia factory

Samsung Electronics is planning to lease its TV factory in Russia in light of a number of global companies halting business there, Reuters reported on Wednesday.

According to Reuters, this comes after a Kommersant report on Tuesday stating that Russia’s VVP Group would start production at Samsung’s factory.

It is worth mentioning that in March 2022, Samsung has suspended its shipments to Russia.
