Saudi Arabia to host peace talks on Ukraine in August
Saudi Arabia is planning to hold Ukrainian-organised peace summit in early August seeking to find a way to start negotiations over Russia’s war on the country, officials said Sunday.
The Saudi government has invited national security and diplomatic advisers from Ukraine and others in the Group of 20 such as India, Brazil and China, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The summit will be held in the Red Sea port city of Jeddah, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity as no authorisation had been given to publicly discuss the summit.
