Saudi Arabia topped the list of countries receiving Egyptian exports within the first five months of 2014 worth EGP6.4 billion then Italy ranked second, Turkey comes in the third place followed by USA.
The latest reports of Egyptian General Supervisory Authority (EFSA) revealed that the value of Egyptian export which received by Saudi Arabia in last January reached up EGP1 billion and 240.000 and it increased to EGP1 billion and 285million in February but in March it reached EGP1 billion and 280 million , in April it registered EGP1 billion and 261million, within May it recorded EGP1billion and 312 million.
The building material sector topped first as the Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia during the period from January to May 2014 with EGP1.23 billion value , then electronic engineering goods with EGP1.23 billion, food industries ranked third with EGP1.04 billion, Agricultural Crops ranked fourth with EGP732 million, Chemicals and fertilizers worth EGP452 million and followed by furniture with EGP367 million.
