Saudi Arabia saw tourism revenue reach almost $9.86 billion as the sector sees massive increase in the Kingdom as it seeks to attract more foreign visitors and diversity its economy from oil.
The Kingdom hosted during the first quarter of 2023, about 7.8 million foreign tourists, representing a 64 percent surge compared to the same period in 2019, state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.
This results follow the ministry of Tourism’s efforts to boost the tourism sector and its contribution to the growth of the national economy, the agency added.
