Saudi Egyptian Investment Company increase stake at e-finance

Saudi Egyptian Investment Company raised its stake in e-finance for Digital and Financial Investments to 25.01 percent, said a bourse filing on Wednesday.

The company acquired an equity of around 0.01 percent in the firm’s issued share capital on Monday.

However, the transaction will not affect the firm’s management or the interests of its customers.

Saudi Egyptian Investment is seeking to grow in key business areas, as well as enhancing efficiencies, and backing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.

This potential acquisition will help the company expand internationally, and particularly in Egypt.
