Marakez for Real Estate Investment, the Egyptian arm of Saudi conglomerate Fawaz Alhokair, aims to complete works on a major commercial mall in the Nile Delta city of Mansoura within 2021.
The mall, the biggest in Mansoura, will be built over 47 feddans, with investments of around 1.4 billion Egyptian pounds ($84.3 million), said Marakez’s executive vice chairman Ahmed Badrawi on Sunday.
The project is to include a hypermarket and car parking as well as cinemas and restaurants, besides entertainments areas, besides a bunch of local and global top brands in the fashion industry, Badrawi added.
“The mal will meet the needs of residents in Nile Delta and Dakahlia by providing around 10,000 direct and indirect job opportunities,” he said.
