Saudi Pepsi Bugshan Mulls Merger With Egyptian Counterpart

Saudi Industrial Projects Company (SIPCO) ‘Pepsi-Cola Bugshan’ will go through a merger with Pepsi-Cola Egypt within the course of 2013. The Saudi company said the merger shall be after doing the evaluation process for the Pepsi-Cola Egypt’s assets, sources near from the deal said.

In an exclusive statement to ‘Amwal Al Ghad’, Masr Capital’s Chairman and Managing Director Hassan Soliman said his firm will be carrying out the assessment process for Pepsi-Cola Egypt within the current period on the purpose for the purpose of setting the realization value for the company’s assets.

Soliman expected that the assessment process for Pepsi-Cola Egypt will be completed within the H1/2013.

He further added that the realization value will likely range between EGP 300:400 million.
