Saudi PIF assets exceed $594bln in 2022
Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) released on Sunday its annual report for 2022, which its assets under management (AUM) had exceeded $594.4 billion.
International investments made up 23 percent of its AUM, worth $136.5 billion, while 77 percent were local investments $457.8 billion, as it generated a total shareholders’ return of eight percent and established 25 companies in 2022, the report said.
“The economy continued to recover from the disruptions of recent years, PIF has been proactive in driving transformational change throughout the Kingdom,” said PIF’s governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan.
