Saudi Egyptian Construction Company (SECON) says it signed five construction contracts worth 250 million Egyptian pounds ($13.8 million) to develop the second phase of Riyadh-SECON project in New Cairo.
The 68 feddan-project includes 1,897 housing units at spaces ranging between 145 square metres and 280 square metres. It involves 120 residential buildings.
The Egyptian property developer company is executing Riyadh-SECON on three phases.
Darwish Hassanein, SECON’s chief executive, said Sunday that his company signed the contracts with some local construction firms including Al Shams for Contracting and Engineering Works and Al Rowad for Construction and Development.
“We have already begun in implementing the first phase,” Hassanein noted.
The Egyptian official further added that Riyadh-SECON will be finished in May 2019.
