Egypt’s Social Fund for Development (SFD) is currently in talks with the French Development Agency (Agence Française de Développement AFD) over €80 million finances.
SFD is also negotiating the European Union in order to obtain a grant worth €15 million.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad’s Arabic website, SFD Director General Hanaa El Hilaly stated the new targeted finances will go for the micro and small-sized enterprises in a number of governorates alongside remote areas. The finances also aimed at providing the technical and administrative support for the labour-intensive projects, she added.
