The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department’s semi-annual report shows that real estate transactions in Sharjah’s Central and Eastern regions reached AED 646 million in the first half of 2024, reflecting a 17.7 per cent increase from the previous year. Specifically, the Central Region recorded AED 284.2 million in transactions (43.9 per cent of the total), Khor Fakkan saw AED 179.6 million (27.8 per cent), Kalba had AED 170.7 million (26.4 per cent), and Dibba Al-Hisn reported AED 11.5 million (1.8 per cent).
During this period, the department registered 14,395 real estate transactions involving 21.7 million square feet of traded area.
Additionally, the department processed 246 mortgage transactions totaling AED 279.7 million. The Central Region led in sales transactions with 281 deals worth AED 232.7 million, with Al-Qasimia as the top performer.
Khor Fakkan had 137 transactions valued at AED 83.2 million, Kalba recorded 63 transactions worth AED 42.7 million, and Dibba Al-Hisn had 13 transactions totalling AED 9.5 million.
