Siemens Energy confirms ongoing support for Zohr operations at EGYPES 2025

Siemens Energy continues supporting Zohr gas field operations through contracts with Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel), providing advanced engineering solutions to enhance efficiency and maximise natural gas output.

Petrobel Chairman Khaled Mowafy confirmed the ongoing collaboration during a meeting with Siemens Energy Egypt CEO Ashraf Hamasa on the sidelines of The Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2025). Discussions focused on leveraging Siemens’ technologies to improve operational performance and ensure sustainable production at Zohr.

The two sides also reviewed strategies for energy infrastructure development, resource optimisation, and Egypt’s transition to clean energy, reinforcing cooperation between global and local players in the country’s energy sector.
