Singapore, Egypt Plan Strengthening Economic Ties

Singapore’s Ambassador to Cairo S Premjith and the Chairman of Egypt’s General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Hassan Fahmy had discussed Tuesday ways to deepen bilateral economic relations between the two countries.

The Egyptian official had given a general overview of  his country’s current economic situation alongside GAFI’s upcoming plans to bolster investments in Egypt.

Moreover, Ambassador Premjith hailed the Egyptian official’s suggestion to permit GAFI’s employees to visit Singapore get to know more about the Singaporean successful expertise in global businesses.

The Singaporean ambassador further said his country will maintain providing its technical assistance to Egypt focusing on training and increasing the skills under the sponsorship of Singapore Cooperation Programme (SCP).
