Sisi discusses Gaza developments with Iranian president
Egypt’s president Abdel Fattah al-Sisi discussed the recent developments in Gaza on Saturday with the Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi.
According to the Iranian state television, the call also discussed restoring diplomatic ties between both countries.
The television added that Raisi called his Egyptian counterpart Sisi, after they met in November for the first time during the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit in Riyadh.
“Raisi said Iran was ready to provide all its capacities to stop the genocide by the Zionist regime and send aid to the Palestinians,” Iranian TV reported.
Raisi also congratulated the Egyptian president for his reelection as President of Egypt.
