Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is heading to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday to discuss boosting relations, said Presidential Spokesman, Ahmed Fahmy, in a statement on Monday.
al-Sisi is set to meet the president and ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to Fahmy, they are expected to discuss ways to further boost the close bilateral relations between both nations.
President al-Sisi and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed will also discuss a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
Fahmy also said that the visit is part of the framework of the Egyptian-Emirati relations and their cooperation across all levels.
