Egypt’s President Sisi opens EGYPES 2024

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi inaugurated on Monday the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2024, the epicentre of the global energy dialogue in Africa and the Mediterranean.

Taking place in Cairo on February 19-21, EGYPES 2024 is bringing together more than 35,000 attendees and 2,200 delegates spanning the entire energy supply and value chains.

Themed “Driving Energy Transition, Security, and Decarbonisation”, EGYPES 2024 will witness 80 discussion sessions concerning worldwide energy dynamics, the latest industry trends, regional progress, and collective actions to achieving net-zero emissions, with the participation of more than 300 speakers.

While the accompanying exhibition, held on an area of 39,000 square metres, also includes 12 country pavilions, including China, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Spain, Turkey, the UAE, the UK, the United States, and Romania for the first time. There are also 450 exhibiting companies from various countries.

The four-day event is supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum.
