S&P Global: India manufacturing eases to 12-month low in Dec. ’24

The HSBC India Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) was 56.4 in December, a 12-month low, showing a weaker improvement in operating conditions.

This was slightly lower than November’s 56.5 but still above the long-run average of 54.1, indicating robust growth, as per data from S&P Global on Thursday.
