Spain Constructs 3 Tunnels In Suez Canal At €840.000

Dr. Waleed Abdel Ghaffar, Head of Technical Committee for Suez Canal Corridor, met today the members of the Spanish consulting office that signed a contract about establishing three tunnels in Suez Canal at total costs € 840.000. Both sides discussed the steps that the Spanish office would take during conducting a study, which is supposed to be finished within 9 months.

Abdel Ghaffar has reviewed with the members the whopping venture and its general plan as well as the sectors by which they will start, like West Port Said Port, Technology Valley, Qantara area, west and northwest of Suez Gulf and Ain Sukhna Port.

The Spanish side showed its readiness to participate in this whopping venture, which is one of the biggest ventures in Egypt and the whole world; confirming their interest in studying the investment opportunities available in the venture in order to take part in them.
