Spain’s EU-harmonised inflation rate dropped to 2.9 per cent for the year ending in July, down from 3.6 per cent in June, according to preliminary data released on Tuesday.
Core inflation, excluding volatile fresh food and energy prices, fell to 2.8 per cent for the same period, down from 3.0 per cent in June. Additionally, the national consumer price index for July decreased to 2.8 per cent, compared to 3.4 per cent in June.
