Spanish investments in Egypt hit $947m

Spanish investments in Egypt have reached $947 million through 193 companies operating in the North African nation, according to the Vice President of Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria, Ahmed Hassan, as saying.

This came during a meeting between Hassan and the Spanish Ambassador to Cairo, Ramon Gil Casares, who discussed potential means for cooperation between the two countries.

The ambassador affirmed his country’s commitment towards supporting cooperation with Egypt in cultural, economic, and commercial sectors.
