Suez Canal Extension to turn Egypt into key Global Logistics Hub
The New Suez Canal will turn Egypt into an industrial, commercial and touristic centre internationally that will achieve global leadership in logistics and naval transport industry, supply minister Khaled Hanafy said Wednesday.
Hanafy added that Egypt will attain that through launching a new civilized zone representing a fresh start to the Egyptian economy for development and prosperity.
“The project (new canal) is with no doubt a giant project in the 21th century” the minister stated
