Suez Canal Authority (SCA) stated that some 47 vessels from the north and south directions passed through the canal today; carrying 2.662 million tons.
The number of vessels coming from the north direction is 22 ones at weight of 1.518 million tons, while the number of vessels coming from the south direction is 25 ones at weight of 1.144 million tons; according to the daily statement of the SCA.
The statement added that the biggest vessel that was coming from the north and heading to KSA is “MSC CAMILLE”, an affiliate to Panama, at weight of 158.000 tons. Also, the biggest vessel coming from the south, from Malaysia and heading to Portuguese, is “MSC EVA”, an affiliate to Panama, at weight of 156.000 tons.
