Suez Canal revenues highest ever for month of November

Egypt’s revenues from the Suez Canal recorded $571.3 million in November, the highest monthly level ever, said the canal’s authority chairman Osama Rabie on Tuesday.

November’s income is the highest ever for the canal, noted Rabie, and is up from $551 million in the previous month.

The vital waterway also breaks its highest monthly tonnage record with 113.5 million tonnes in November, the Egyptian official said.
