Sunday Official Holiday On Egypt’s New FY: EGX

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has announced that Sunday 01/07/2012 to be an official holiday due to the beginning of the new Fiscal Year. EGX will resume trading on Monday 02/07/2012. Banks in Egypt has announced a similar announcement regarding halting their activities due to the beginning of the FY.

Worth mentioning, the new fiscal year in Egypt starts on 01/07/2012 and ends on 30/06/2013.
