The volume of Egypt’s exports to the Syrian market recorded EGP 200 million last January, up 22%, compared to EGP 163 million exports attained in January 2012.
The Egyptian exports to Syria were the agricultural crops, which achieved EGP 78 million in January, EGP 49 million food industries, and the chemicals and fertilizers attained EGP 26 million; according to sources in the Foreign Trade Sector to “Amwal Al Ghad”.
The sources added that rest export value divided into building materials, ready-made garments, furnishings and medical industries; hitting varied export values that don’t outstrip EGP 15 million.
