Taiwan c. bank maintains policy rate at 2%

Taiwan’s central bank board decided on Thursday to maintain the policy interest rate at 2 per cent, according to the bank’s statement.

The bank kept the rate on refinancing of secured loans unchanged at 2.375 per cent, and the rate on temporary accommodations at 4.25 per cent.
