Egypt’s Tourism Development Authority (TDA) is planning to offer four investment opportunities for integrated development projects under the preferential bidding system in Ain Sokhna next week.
TDA’s plans come as part of total development plan covering 19 million square metres, said TDA Chairman Serag El Din Saad.
Serag El Din revealed that Ain Sokhna’s integrated development projects include the establishment of a 120.000 m2 beach tourist village alongside a 320.000 m2 tourist resort, a 215.000 m2 resort for medical tourism, and a 43.000 m2 beach under usufruct system.
TDA also intends to offer an integrated development project in Red Sea over 5 million square metres, he noted.
Investments in TDA land amount to EGP 68bn, of which foreign capital accounts for no more than 3.5%, according to the authority.
