Top 50 Women Forum, DCarbon Egypt sign MoU to Boost sustainability awareness among women
Top 50 Women Forum has on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with DCarbon Egypt to raise sustainability awareness among Egyptian women and qualify them to conduct sustainability reporting.
The MoU aims to enhance the level of achievement of sustainable development goals through cooperation to provide research, consultancy, and community development solutions. This is in addition to organising workshops and conferences on sustainable development, climate change, along with the role of public and private companies as well NGOs for climate action either at national, regional, and global levels.
TOP 50 Women Forum is the first-of-its-kind platform that brings together female technocrats in Egypt. It was set up by 50 honorees recognised as the most influential women in the Egyptian economy during Amwal Al Ghad Annual Ceremony that was held in January 2016 under the auspices of Egypt’s Prime Minister. The Forum targets promoting women’s role as key partners in socio-economic development. Its members comprise of female ministers, and C-suite executives working for major companies operating in various economic sectors, as well as female entrepreneurs.
