TotalEnergies to invest $300 mln in Adani Green projects

French oil major TotalEnergies is planning to invest $300 million to form a strategic partnership with Adani Green Energy on a renewable energy project, an official statement said on Wednesday.

The new joint venture will have a 1,050 MW of energy portfolio of which 300 MW are operational, 500 MW are under construction, and 250 MW are under development.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said the investment by TotalEnergies “the investment will strengthen the role AGEL plays in India’s power decarbonisation journey.”
