The volume of Egyptian-Bahraini trade exchange hiked to US$384 in 2015 from US$120 million in 2014, marking 20 percent increase.
Head of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khalid Abdul Rahman Al Moayed said Tuesday that this increase is a good proof of the strong relations and mutual vision between Egypt and Bahrain.
It also shows Bahraini businessmen’s keenness to invest in Egypt, i.e. Bahraini investments in Egypt are estimated at $1.7 billion, the official clarified.
The chairman made these remarks during the joint Bahraini-Egyptian Business Forum that took place in Egypt on April 26.
Al Moayed asserted that both countries are exerting efforts to increase trade exchange volume to suit the nature of joint relations by encouraging the mutual investments through trade delegations and upgrading bilateral relations.
