Travis Scott to perform new album at Giza Pyramids

American singer Travis Scott announced on Sunday that he will be performing his new upcoming album The World of Utopia, during a livestream at the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza on July 28.

The Live Nation event has a limited capacity due to high demand, with two tickets category; Premium priced at EGP 4,000, and VIP Golden Circle priced at 6,500 pounds sold at Ticketsmarche. The VIP Golden Circle category has been sold out.

Utopia will be Scott’s fourth album since his Grammy-nominated Astroworld in 2018, he first revealed the title in July 2020 on Astroworld’s second anniversary.

The album will also be Scott’s first since the Astroworld 2021 music festival in Houston incident, with eight people dying and many others suffering injuries at the festival, which the police called a mass casualty incident.
