Turkey fines Google $14.85m over hotel searches

The Turkish competition authority imposed on Monday a fine of approximately 482 million lira ($14.85 million) on tech giant Google, according to Reuters.

The authority stated that the fine was a result of Google’s inability to address the competition board’s concerns regarding fair competition with other local search engines.
