Turkey’s economic confidence rises by 2.0% in September ’24
Turkey’s economic confidence index increased by 2.0 per cent in September 2024, reaching 95.0, up from 93.1 in August, according to official data.
The consumer confidence index rose 2.4 per cent to 78.2, while the real sector (manufacturing) confidence index increased by 1.2 per cent to 99.2. The services and retail trade sectors also saw gains, with their indices rising to 112.6 and 110.6, respectively.
However, the construction confidence index dipped slightly by 0.2 per cent, settling at 87.8. These figures reflect mixed sentiments across Turkey’s key economic sectors.
