Al Dahra Agriculture – a UAE leading company specializing in agriculture and animal feed production with global operations, farms and production facilities in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa – has revealed an agreement with the Egyptian government to buy 100.000 feddans in the Toshka Project, with investments totaled EGP 1.5 billion.
On the sidelines of the Gulf-Egyptian Investment Forum 2013 which kicked off on Wednesday in Cairo to allure Gulf investors to the North African country, Sulaiman Al Nuaimi – the General Manager at Al Dahra Agriculture – has emphasized to Amwal Al Ghad on the crucial role played by Toshka Project in achieving food security in Egypt.
Al Nuaim further noted that Al Dahra Agriculture’s volume of investments in Egypt amounts to EGP 5 billion, saying the upcoming phase will witness the injection of more investments to the country after analyzing the market needs.
