UAE’s Mashreq to begin digital banking operations in Pakistan

UAE-based Mashreq announced on Monday that it completed its incorporation in Pakistan and will commence digital banking operations soon.

The bank plays a vital role in digitisation efforts in Pakistan and financial development.

According to Fernando Morillo, the Group Head of Retail Banking at Mashreq, they especially focus on the small and medium enterprise (SMEs), payments, and inclusion.
