UK Export Finance keen to fund oil projects in Egypt

Export credit agency UK Export Finance is keen to finance oil sector projects in Egypt, its chief executive Louis Taylor said on Saturday.

During his meeting with Egyptian Oil Minister Tarek el-Molla, Taylor the United Kingdom’s export credit agency was scouting for projects in which to support and was seeking to extend its cooperation portfolio with Egypt particularly in fields of oil, refining, and petrochemicals.

The UK official praised Egypt’s recent economic reforms that positively affected the business and lending climate and the volume of foreign investments in the country.
