UK inflation rises in Nov. ’24

UK inflation rose in the 12 months to November 2024, with the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) climbing to 2.6 per cent, up from 2.3 per cent in October, according to official data.

The CPI increased by 0.1 per cent monthly, contrasting with a 0.2 per cent drop in November 2023.

Core CPI, which excludes energy, food, alcohol, and tobacco, rose to 3.5 per cent annually from 3.3 per cent in October.
