A report issued by the United Nations revealed that the social networks’ activity has been changed in the last period to be a platform for the terrorism; attracting a number of participants in terror attacks and publishing the targeted places. The 148 pages report referred that the websites- Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and YouTube, helped in promoting the terroristic thought; elaborating that these websites have recently promoted the acts of violence and terrorism. The electronic attacks that the world witnessed within the last two years on a number of vital websites; like leaking out the customers’ data in banks, and penetrating the website of Congress and Pentagon, are considered as electronic terrorism acts, the report affirmed. According to Bloomberg.com, the social networks owners haven’t commented on the UN’s report.
