URGENT: Egypt condemns terrorist attack on Somali president’s convoy

Egypt has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s convoy, which left multiple casualties.

In an official statement, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry denounced the assault, reiterating its firm rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten Somalia’s stability.

Expressing full solidarity with President Mohamud and the Somali people, Egypt extended its deepest condolences to the victims’ families and wished the injured a swift recovery.
