URGENT: Egypt strongly condemns Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

Egypt strongly condemns Israel’s airstrikes on Gaza in the early hours of Tuesday, which have so far claimed the lives of more than 300 Palestinians.

In an official statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attacks as a blatant ceasefire violation and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional stability. Egypt reiterated its firm rejection of Israeli actions that fuel tensions and undermine peace efforts.

The ministry urged the international community to act immediately to stop the assault and prevent another cycle of violence. It also called on all parties to exercise restraint and allow mediators to continue working towards a lasting ceasefire.
