US dollar settle down in Egypt’s major banks

The US dollar exchange rate settled down on Sunday’s transactions at Egypt’s major banks.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate recorded 18.23 pounds for buying and 18.29 pounds for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate registered 18.24 pounds for buying and 18.31 pounds for selling.

As a result, the consequences of the crisis of the war between Russia and Ukraine, affected on the exchange rates of major currencies in the global capital markets and banks.

The euro price reached 19.20 pounds for buying and 19.38 pounds for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.

The pound sterling amounted of the NBE and Banque Misr recorded 22.67 pounds for buying and 22.86 pounds for selling.

At the CIB, the pound sterling stood at exchange rate around 22.68 pounds for buying and 22.88 pounds for selling.

The Saudi riyal price reached 4.96 pounds for buying and 4.97 pounds for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.
