Vodafone Egypt asserted that it is committed to the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority’s decision to close the unregistered lines since the last Thursday.
An official source in Vodafone said his company started to inform the users about the decision since the beginning of the last week, noting that the users began to the branches to demand the registration of unregistered lines.
The source has informed Amwal Al Ghad that Vodafone demanded through social network sites paid up customers to register the data and enter the national identity in order to ensure the stability of the service and to avoid stop-line so as to apply NTRA’s decision to cut the service for the lines which don’t carry data.
