German car maker Volkswagen‘s executives said on Wednesday that they need to focus on productivity to cope with the competition this year as supply chains impro, car production increases and consumers remain under pressure.
Arno Antlitz, Finance Chief, said that this year must be the year of productivity, while Volkswagen chief, Thomas Schaeffer, added that the supply chain obstacles will still affect output this year.
Last week, Volkswagen expected sales to increase by 331 billion euros this year, and predicted a 14 percent in deliveries in comparison to 2022.
