Accidents due to bad weather have been reported in Menoufiya, Alexandria, Gharbiya, and Marsa Matrouh.
Two people were killed and four were injured in three road accidents on the Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road near Menoufiya, where major roads are covered in rainwater and mud.
Alexandria has been hit with strong winds, causing property damage to buildings due to falling trees and light posts, as well as car crashes, though no injuries have been reported.
The governor of Alexandria has warned citizens to stay in safe places far from the Corniche and highways and not to touch light posts.
