Women make up 45% of Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority staff

Women make up 45 percent of the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) staff, said an official on Wednesday.

“Large number (of these women) have held senior and leading positions in the past few years,” said Dr. Soheir Korraa, head of the non-profit society Egyptian Women in Nuclear and professor at the EAEA’s National Centre for Radiation Research and Technology.
