World Bank approves $200 million loan for Egypt entrepreneurs, SMEs: minister

The World Bank has approved a $200 million loan to support entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized businesses in Egypt, said Egyptian investment minister Sahar Nasr on Wednesday.

The loan aims at promoting entrepreneurship in Egypt along with small and medium-sized projects, particularly led by women, Nasr said in ministry statement following her participation in the World Bank’s annual spring meetings in Washington.
