World Bank: Egypt’s energy sector reforms alluring larger private investments
Egypt’s reforms in the energy sector have attracted more private investments to the market, said World Bank Group President David Malpass on Thursday.
Malpass lauded the successes achieved by Egypt in carrying out renewable energy projects, including that of Benban solar park in Aswan, describing it as the most successful project in the world this year.
His remarks were made at the opening session of the World Bank annual meetings in Washington in which Egypt was represented by Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr.
