Inditex, Zara owner, said on Wednesday that its net revenues have increased by 27 percent in 2022, as both revenues online and offline reached €32.56 billion worldwide, with an increase of 17.5 percent from €27.71 billion the year before.
This increase came after sales increased during the post pandemic sales, since the company increased prices to be able to face the global inflation. The company benefited from the increased demand after lockdown was lifted.
In October of 2022, Zara announced that it will launch a new service for British customer to sell secondhand clothes, repair them, or donate them. This gave the company a bigger trade platform.
The company said that the initiative aims to control wasting materials, however, it did not specify whether the initiative will be activated in other parts of the world.
